Smartwatches are a scam!
Smartwatches or digital time tellers have been amongst us for years. It’s just that they were not as fancy back then as they are now. But how did we go from wearing normal time tellers to digital time tellers? Remember this?

Be it the brilliance of the marketing team that makes you feel you need a smartwatch or that you cannot walk one step without counting your steps these days, smartwatches have become an integral part of our lives.
But the main concept is time hasn’t changed. It still ticks every second.
The headache is what comes along with a watch these days. Not only do you have to put your watch on charge these days, but you have to keep it connected to your phone via Bluetooth too. And it doesn’t end there. You for some reason also need to receive calls from the watch, or for watches that don’t support that, you need to know who is calling you in front of everyone by raising your wrist and then picking up your phone to receive the call. Lol. You have to walk for the watch these days and as soon as you are done walking you have put that up on your WhatsApp status. And on days your watch is out of charge, you feel too lazy to walk even. With the craze that companies like Apple have created in the market, you want to buy things that look exactly like Apple even if it doesn’t look like it.
It is weird how we use our watches for everything it wasn’t a couple of years ago — A thing that tells us time. This generation has people buying watches or time on EMI too.
This is the Apple Watch costing a whopping Rs. 89,000 or 1000$.
Is it worth buying this? All the hard-earned money of months to buy a thing that tells you time. Is this what is meant by modernism? Am sure you can find a duplicate version of this looking exactly the same for Rs. 2000 in the market as well. Look at this —
By embracing minimalism you not only get things out of your life but also start making sense. If you think that you need at least Rs. 50,000 a month to live, there are monks in Nepal who live for a 100th of that cost.
Start making sense, that is why you get an education. It is to live a life of peacefulness and not to enter the rat race. The more you let things go, the more peaceful you become.
