A car is a big investment for most of the middle class. It comes with a lot of joy and unlimited experiences. It takes care of emergencies. It allows you to escape the painful public transport and it allows you to have fun picnics with your family.
But that being said, it is a lot of maintenance too. You have to care for it like you care for a baby. Maybe not daily but regularly for sure.
Here is a list that has worked out wonders for me —
- Give it a shade — We carelessly leave it around in the sun and allow the paint to be affected by the scorching heat and UV rays of the sun. Though not evident, it slowly fades the expensive paint away.
- Protect it from dust — Now dust is the enemy of any device but you can’t help it when it comes to cars because cars usually remain outside the house. Brush the dust away once in a while or include it in your weekly maintenance cycle.
- Groom it — Just like you groom yourself before leaving the house, give it a quick wash. It doesn’t have to be big. Hit it with a pipe of water and just rub off the dust. A clean car brings out your attention to detail in front of others. Believe me. People notice.
- Interior cleaning — It doesn’t have to be those sophisticated tools they show in those cleaning videos. Just take a wet cloth and give the inside a nice mop. Before doing…
