Why learning Law is important?

The first thing that comes to our mind when we hear the words — legal, law, police, lawyer etc is fear. Have you ever wondered why it is so? The reason is the lack of awareness.

Why do you feel lawyers are confident in this country? It is because they know the law of the land. So does that mean you will be confident once you are aware of the law too? Absolutely and it is that simple.

Let us start by defining what the law is.

LAW — is a set of rules that every citizen of the country should follow. It is a set of guidelines that help you make better decisions in every aspect of life. You are going for a new job — know about the labour laws. You are getting married — know about the family law. You are buying some property — know about the property laws. You are buying something — know about the consumer protection law, the GST acts and so on.

Once you know enough about the law, you will understand that the police are here for your help and you can always make better use of them. After all, it is you who is paying their salaries via taxes. So isn’t it good to put them to some use?
